Jets likely to be without Quinnen Williams this week

“The Jets seem likely to have to play without star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams this week, but his calf injury doesn’t sound like it’s the kind of thing that will keep him out for an extended period of time.”

This per Dan Graziano inside of a long ESPN article about the entire league. The article itself is behind a paywall, so if I can’t quote like that out of the article please lock this thread and delete, and I’ll link the article. Regardless, here’s this very important snippet for our game this week. If he can’t go that changes the entire game.

That helps us. Hopefully brown can come back this week. That’s still going to be a tough defense to play. I wonder who they’re going to put sauce on? Sauce vs st brown would be a hell of a matchup.

OF the final 6 games this is the one I’m most concerned about. Tough Defense, on the road, in the elements, with a team with playoff hopes. This will be a battle. Williams being out is a big break for the Lions.

If that happens.

I’m concerned from a talent standpoint but the lions know the jets are a playoff caliber team and will be up for this game. I’m as concerned for next week. The lions play at Carolina and face a panthers team starting to play well. That could be the letdown game.

I would not be the least bit shocked if Quinnen Williams tries to make a go of it on Sunday. They need this one.

Same for White.

The Panthers don’t have enough offense to hand with the Lions.

Provided we play up to our ability. Anything can happen in the nfl on any given weekend. Who saw the Texans almost beating the cowboys?

Dude is having a monster season, 11 sacks and 23 QB hits from a DT. He’s having an Aaron Donald type of season. It would be huge for us if he’s out.
