Those were needs. Hooker was a why, dude was coming off from being injured. But those were both bad as well. Rake made zero sense after the Arnold pick and trading for Davis. De was still a forgotten thought.

Yea Geno has had a couple decent years. He’s an upgrade on Fields for AG. Geno getting old though. He aint the future. Turns 36 this year. AG still needs to find his franchise qb.

I don’t follow but at the movement curious about this

Who could the Jets pick up in the draft that can start? I know Mendoza is a raiders but any other good QBs

Nothing is still ever gonna top him having all the time in the world and he throws the INT to Hutch

I do think Ty Simpson has a shot at being a solid NFL starter. Especially if he gets in with the right coach and system. But I think the Jets are going to pass on him at 2 & 16 maybe even at 33 & 44 if he gets there.

Jets are in that spot where AG needs to show major improvement in order to stick around past 2026. Because of that, do you draft a QB with a premium draft pick when the staff might drastically change in 2027? New coaches generally like to bring in their own guy due to the their careers kind of being directly tied to the QB performance. Jets also have the ammo to get their franchise guy in next years draft (three 1st round picks). So I think the Jets are rolling with what they have in 2026 for better or for worse.
