And he had a top 10 draft pick at TE, a very good running game, numerous high picks on his defense, and the other team’s signs…and STILL wasn’t elite.
Gotta love the sour grapes because our sign stealers were so much better than your sign stealers. Just another excuse for failure. Not surprising given the enormous gap in quality of education between the two schools.

JJ didn’t do much in the way of processing at Michigan. Which to me is far and away the most important thing a QB does.
And to fit in with my lifetime of watching the Lions, it was literally the best game he has had in the nfl. At the least, that last TD he scored is his only real highlight, from what I hear. Typical Lions.

We had the best QB that money didn’t have to buy. (Yes that was a shot fired at OSU).
I’m glad that he was good enough to help win a title at Michigan and then sucked balls once he went to the vikings.

Not bitter at all. Especially considering every team steals signs, it is again about advanced in person scouting.. turns out the ncaa didnt care too much at the end of the day considering it amounted to little more than a fine and this annoying discussion

I mean I do like making fun of the JJ “LOVE” on tis board by the UM fans. But Mighty Mouse is an absolute problem IMO. JJ has shown he is a good leader, a win first guy, and someone who is a positive in the locker room. I am not sure you can say any of those things about Murray.
Right now the issue with JJ is he is not good at playing QB. But he has potential. And over time he may get better. But I am not sure Murray has that potential anymore.
I fail to see how his comment can be interpreted as drama

JJ did what was asked of him in a Harbaugh offense. He was always a raw talent for the NFL. He was not even close to ready to be thrown into the starting role with the Vikings. He may never get there, but I tend to think he will develop into a serviceable starter in the league. He’s never going to be a star, but I can see him having a career similar to his old ball coach.
