Depends on how mobile he is, a guy like Aaron Rodgers will often escape the pressure and extend the play and make a play happen. But you’re right pressure leads to mistakes, like the pick-6 that Stafford threw against Chicago.

But Brees has had a pocket. They’ve made sure to keep the interior OL positions among the league’s best, specifically to empower their QB to be what he can be.

That Dallas D got through what Aikman called “maybe the best OL in the league”.
