Kaepernick just needed a chance .... šŸ¤”

Yeah, Kap’s presser was such a ridiculous clown show. You could have sworn he was talking from atop a soapbox.
I don’t know how he thinks any team could give him a chance now. It’s unfortunate he got a shoe deal, maybe he’d come back to earth if he actually needed the money.

You had a hard time as a kid with the connect-the-dot games, huh?!?!

Stephen A Smith, who has supported CK consistently was disgusted and called him out for blowing his opportunity

ā€œYou don’t want to work, you just want to make noise,ā€ Smith said. ā€œIt’s over — Colin Kaepernick’s aspiration in the NFL.ā€

Weird that Stephen A. Smith, who just signed a new five year deal making him the highest paid employee at ESPN, who pays 1.9 Billion for NFL rights would jump in the league’s corner!

Two thumbs up :+1::+1:

If someone agrees or disagrees with Kap, how does that connect a dot to wife-beaters and dead beat dad’s?
Was Kap kneeling to protest wife-beater NFL players? or dead-beat dad NFL players?

And if we don’t agree with Kap, we support orange presidents who don’t know the anthem?!? LOL

And also, the National Anthem is ā€œjust a songā€ to you? I mean, you are Canadian but you should understand what an Anthem stands for.

Wow, you really should think more before you post.

What’s this got to do with the price of tea in China?

He’s gonna have plenty of time to think before his next post. Sorry I am late to the party guys, I am traveling this weekend.

I’m not gonna defend the guy, lol. He’s uh…abrasive.

But, his point was that people who want Kapernick gone from the league forever for his flag protest don’t get nearly as angry as wife beaters and dead beat Dad’s playing in the league and getting chance after chance.

He certainly could have said it better.

Terrell Owens was actually a better player than Kap when he was blacklisted by the league. Owens had 983 yards and 9 TDs the year prior. I can understand why teams would be hesitant to sign Kaepernick considering he was a pretty average player and he still seems intent on bringing the clown show with him wherever he goes. I don’t doubt his sincerity in wanting to play though, I just think he can’t help himself.

I don’t want to compare you to Davey…but you’re making some of the same assumptions. Why can’t I disagree with Kap and be just as angry (or even more) about wife-beaters and dead-beat dad’s?
Why is it one or the other?

Why can’t I disagree with Kap and still not like Trump?

Davey was drawing lines that just weren’t there. Very few people are ā€œall or nothingā€ when it comes to their beliefs and how they feel about issues.

Thanks Wes.

Not sure what Davey’s problem was.

32 year old running QBs don’t exactly have a long shelf life. Remember how beat up he was the last time he saw significant playing time? He was a lot younger back then.

I’m not making the assumption about you personally, I haven’t tracked your Hill, Peterson, etc etc outrage levels. But he does have a point that the NFL is seemingly ok with that sort of person playing and getting second chances in the league.

always has been SOME douche bag players in the NFL, nothing new. Kaep is just FU^%ING Dumb !
He was given lee way before and people moved on , BUT he ticked off a lot of folks before it all died down.

Here he is with a 2nd Legit chance opportunity to clean it up, put his skills on exhibit , show he could/can STILL play , show the world he has straightened up and is serious about playing and doing better.

Instead, he chose to make it into a media opportunity to feed his giant-ass Ego, and make an ass out of himself again while proving us all right in our thoughts that he was a dipshit all along. If I never see him again, It will be too soon !

What’s funny about the whole thing and what people are missing is Kaep was asked to sign a waiver the basically would have resolved the NFL from any legal recourse from Kaep. It was all a show for the league, they thought Kaep would sign the waiver, work him out and be done with the whole lawsuit. It didn’t work out that way and Kaeps lawyers caught on to what the league was doing

If this is true, then can understand some of Kaeps reasonings. Naturally he took it too far with ridiculousness and enlarged the circus ring.

Secondly, don’t understand why Davey was given a time out. Didn’t see his posts as threatening, just opinionated. In which, tells me unwarranted censorship unless I missed something grievous. Just my two cents…carryon

This seems like its probably fake news as the league has already settled with Kaepernick and for sure that included language that protects them from further lawsuit. More likely Kaepernick is trying to draw attention to himself, which has always been his thing. Maybe it will get him another Nike deal. It shouldn’t but if Nike thinks they can make money off the guy, they will ā€œjust do itā€.

I’m not even talking about just me.

I weigh each case individually…and again, just because I agree or disagree with Kap, doesn’t mean I don’t get even more mad about the wife-beaters and dead-beat dad’s.
Kap has nothing to do with the other NFL issues, no correlation what-so-ever.
I can hate Kap, hate wife-beaters, hate dead-beat dad’s, and it still has nothing to do with how I feel about trump. So let’s just stop with all these assumptions and line-connecting that don’t exist other than posters using them to promote whatever they want to stand for or against.
