Yep, Lions lost to a better team, an expected outcome IMO, but this is two games against Green Bay and Kansas City that they got their butts kicked so it is concerning. Schedule is absolutely relentless so they’re going to need to bring a better game than this or the season could spiral quickly. A couple of home games coming up that they need to win.

How does a team go From having 13 penalties last week to none this week? Hard to play an away game against a good roster with the refs in their bacK pocket as well.

Most of those injured are expected back this season. Sometimes other teams are better that day. It’s certainly not a crime to lose to Kansas City in Kansas City. In a must win game for them. I think our young offensive lineman struggled today and we are a different team if we can’t run the ball. They’ll get better. I don’t think it’s panic time yet. I don’t think it’s time to waste future cap space or draft picks to get an expensive player like Gardner. We are still 4 - 2. KC is now 3 - 3. Brad and Dan don’t do a terrible job of acquiring practice players and getting them ready to play a role.

No doubt. If we’re being real this matters. We are a solid team, a contender, but we have to be able to beat more than Browning and Flacco.

Yeah. I absolutely love Gibbs. I love DMO. But right now I think that DMO is the guy that is feeling things a bit better especially in tight spaces. At the end of last year I was all about Gibbs. I believe in the hot hand and riding it. Building momentum.
I do understand why they use a pitch count. There’s a rationale for that. But it’s almost too methodical. There’s a thing called riding your horse when they’re on a hot streak too. And I think DMO is that guy right now. Especially when the OL is working in some new players.
