Iāve always thought Okudah was a strong safety. Especially in the box. Very physical, good tackler. A heavy zone scheme, like a Tampa 2 would have been perfect for him. The achilles tear was game over though. It usually is.
Was talking with @Thats2 today about that. Heās far more optimistic than me about it. I expect nothing and hope for the best. At least 80 percent of the time itās game over. Just a brutal injury.
Okudah, Romeo, Walker⦠Cooked post achilles
Have the Lions ever had a player play well after that injury?
This wasnāt meant to be a post about some guys with secret information. Its just a typical podcast that I thought was a fun listen. Talking about Kerby calling himself the comeback player gives me a lot of hope that his knee isnāt as bad as the whole world wants to make it out to be. Iām waiting to see what any official news is before I say his career is over and we need a S āNOWā. Same with Branch. And seeing Branch without crunches is good.
They also talked about what I say which is the fact that Holmes knows the medical we donāt and he isnāt doing anything to replace them other than sign 1 depth guy. Which is telling. Weāll see if he goes early for one in the draft.
This is just positive talk. Thatās it. Not some CIA secret classified information thats leaked.
We have Dejonte Murray and Jayson Tatum who do as much cutting, running and jumping as DB will ever do hitting the ground running less than a year after tearing an Achilles.
I heard Richard Sherman mention thereās a new procedure now that as well.
Iām not sure guys who tore Achilles even 5 years are indicative of now but who knows
