Kerby: “God Help Me”

Yep. And obviously we’re speculating here, but this is such a bad look for the Lions. They HAD to know something was going on, right? And then they don’t use an IR placement on him and he’s out for two months? The whole thing stinks.

I’m hoping it’s nothing like the team doing stuff like that. I would lose a ton of respect for them.

That’s not true. Completely against nfl rules. Only 14 padded practices allowed all season. Coaches complain about it all the time

Ngl if its worst case scenario… I don’t think we should blow it up, but we should def “reload”. Trade expiring contracts for picks and stock up at positions in general with younger talent

Kerby is like the 2nd best player on this defense, we see how him not being out there is actually affecting the secondary.

He should have never ■■■■■■■ played in that KC game, and I am mad at the team from not holding him back in that game

Was just about to call BS on that… Simply put, the Lions do run more physical practices than the league, but that’s only in training camp in lieu of preseason games. This isn’t continued into the season and the reason so many vets get rest days. This staff isn’t grenading their players all year.

I do think the amount of injuries league wide is enormous considering you can barely touch anyone in the majority of practices. Only 14 padded practices all season is less than 1 per week allowed.

Gruden has had some epic rants on not being able to practice.

I’ve been leaning toward a meniscus injury throughout this, because depending on the severity the player could continue to play based on pain tolerance and ongoing treatment. However, articular cartilage damage is a legit possibility for the “unknown” feel from the team. That can be a slow or no heal injury.

I hope this is true.

Lions just can’t have nice things ? We get a guy that’s probably the best in the NFL and he ends up with a career ending type BS.

WTF

Thanks, that may have been during camp? I have a buddy who is a 9ers fan who has talked about their insane practice schedule and blames that for why they are hurt every year.

Man this lions team is drama show. Hes at practice today

OR…

…there could be something in his real life that god wants him to be present for.

Was just going to post this update from Justin Rogers

Justin Rogers Detroit practice participation report for Monday: Not practicing: Arnold, St. Brown, Raymond, Wright Returning to practice: Kerby Joseph, Glasgow and Shane Zylstra (practice clock started). Working off to the side: Mahogany

What the hell is going on with the medical people and injury reporting

Confused i guess

Epic rant about injuries and lack of practice here! He sums it up perfectly.

Bumping this because now two additional threads have been started about it, both also ignoring the thread where reporters said it was a nonissue.

Guys, I’m deleting duplicate threads daily now. Please browse the forum before starting a post. Thank you :folded_hands:

Shep’s presser today when asked about Kerby’s mental state after deleting all his social media.

“Kerby’s doing great, he’s ready to get back”

I frankly don’t trust a single thing this guy says.

Your feel good defense that was “disrespected” by us and the media got ■■■■■■■ torched and embarrassed two weeks in a row. But yes, it’s DISRESPECTFUL for us to speculate about a potential trade…to even THINK that the guys in the building aren’t good enough.

I was a big Shep fan before that. After that rant, and after seeing him revert to the AG/Patricia Cover 1 spamming bullshit, I’m about done with him as DC.

Didn’t Jamo make a post last year or the year before stating “I’m in fuckin hell!” Some folks speculated he had no AC because of a power outage. I’ll bet this Kerby post is in a similar, innocuous vein.

Heck, he may have been riding around with Jamo listening to him complain about a broken McFlurry machine.
