KT watch

Looked to me there should have been LB help on that td. Don’t see it as Thibs fault.

Once again, not saying Thibs is a bad player, he’s talented. But, I don’t see a star in the making which the 1st overall pick should be. He’s down 28, let’s see his effort and play in the 2nd half.

Not sure I want that Huge DT but there are couple WR i would take.
I am leaning more for small trade down maybe pick the Safety from ND or a WR .

I really like the freshman ILB Sewell also, he looks a little slow in coverage but he shows up on tape every single game. I doubt he comes out for the draft this season though.

He’s either a sophomore or a redshirt freshman so he has at least another year.

Really impressed with him though, and it really wouldn’t surprise me to see us take him with Penei here.

Agree

I’m not sure how many Blue vs Sparty vs others fans we have here.

Hutch is Caucasian, and this just like Kerrigan and Watt- his athleticism is being underrated I think? They say he’s a 4.65 or better guy at 6’5” 260 plus.

He bats down passes, diagnoses screens, gets tons a pressures, is doubled constantly, and produces more sacks and hits.

NFL pedigree. Better nfl body.

Yes I’d love Lloyd or Sewell at LB, but I wouldn’t take Thib at #5

If we are willing to deal with light in the pants for our pass catching specialist TE then I really like Kuithe. He’s basically just big skill as Dan calls it.

You mentioned Dulcich early in the season, he’s a guy I would look at and he has some size.

I LOVE the way he takes on blocks and either tosses the guy aside or sits down in the hole, really good strength and technique.

Yep. There are a lot of good TEs but no elite ones. I think that suits our need profile. There are probably four day three TEs that I’d be okay with as our second receiving option. My guess is Josh Hill is their hope for Brock Wright. :man_shrugging:

Call me a hater if you want, I just don’t see it. KT is decent, but he’s not a game changer at all and I’ll gladly pass on him @ 1OA in the draft. What he showed tonite, not sure he’s a top 10 pick even.

For the record…they posted a stat and Thibs had a crazy amount of pressures

It was like 35 pressure in 8 games or 5 games or something

Agree 100%. Can anyone name a worse previous draft to have the #1OA pick?

I could name worse 1st overall picks so maybe? JaMarcus Russell says hi

Then trade it.

Texas AandM Demarvin Leal looks really good.

Good technique and can be moved around the whole line

I REALLY WISH MCNEIL AND LEVI WOULD START SHOWING OUT so we can remove DT as a need

However…Leal can even play DE. He has naturally strength…hard to move and good technique and fluid. Chris Jones type

But I still think stud corners are more valuable than DL in today’s NFL. You simply need a good secondary.

With who, if there’s no QB worth the pic no one’s moving up to take The DE.
I don’t think they will be able to trade down cause no one’s worth moving up for. Same reason we don’t wanna pick there and wanting to move down.

I am somewhat on the secondary bandwagon but much more in the eraser ballhawking safety, always felt they were key to top defenses

I really meant from the perspective of the perceived value of the 1st pick before the draft. Isn’t the Russell draft also the draft you could have drafted one of the best receivers ever #1 overall?
