I know this would more than likely not happen but it’s good to see the Lions as one of 3 teams mentioned he would play for.
The MC/DC effect is real!

Wow, surprised the Lions are on his short list. The Lions also might make more sense than the Eagles and Dolphins.
I guess the question would be would we be willing to give out a $200 mill plus contract for him.
" Lamar Jackson a Lion? "
Never happen.
Dude is nowhere near handsome enough to make this roster.
I think the guy’s a stud but it will really hurt what you can do with him if he doesn’t want to run the ball. By far the best part of his game.
Interesting… what would that trade look like? Just Goff for Jackson straight up?
Very good point
Side note to that article, “the lions have franchise cornerstones in Okudah and Hutchinson.”
Here’s hoping they are right!

Pass! Dude will not age well and seems dumb from his interviews.
He’s only 25 years old. He’s 38-12 in the league. 2 division titles but is 1-3 in the playoffs. Probably the most mobile/athletic QB in the league at the moment.
It’d be hard for me to pass. I’d definitely consider Jackson…but I think it would depend on what my alternative options are when it comes time to decide. For example, if the Lions have the 1st pick in the draft I might consider that route over Jackson.
Interesting option for sure.
Wonder what his criteria is? What team would be dumb enough to give me $250mil guaranteed?
Guys like him do not become available very often. Go for it. We could spend a 1OA pick and 3 years hoping a guy becomes as impactful as Lamar, or we can go get Lamar.
By the way, Jalen Hurts is the passer everyone thinks Lamar is.
Probably a 1% chance of happening, but I’d happily explore that 1%
If we want to go the mobile quarterback route I’d wait and see if we can grab that kid from Florida at the end of the first. He looks like he can do the same things as Lamar.
Money won’t be an issue.
Guaranteed money might
Trade compensation might
Lamar’s talent might
But money won’t be the problem
I would barf…I don’t know if anything else would make me angrier. The worst passer in the league, no thanks.
Is he eligible this year or does he have another year of college?
I would love to have him, but not for the money he wants.
I’d gladly give up Goff, our two 2023 firsts and another future pick for him and give him top 5 QB money and guarantee 90% of it.
Guy is a difference maker and I think would be a force multiplier here
