Levi on Manu's progress

If a dude is 6 foot 8 and weighs 360 pounds he can pretty much have rings anywhere he wants… Lol

Thanks for posting this @frm710

I have a feeling that Manu is going to turn out to be a very special left tackle. When Decker is done, and we don’t have to spend a first round pick on his replacement, Brad will look like a genius again.

But the trolls said he was an all-time Holmes bust so there is no possibility that time and coaching will improve him.

Come on trolls, this is your thread to shine!

He doesn’t have many, to begin with.

I do.

He’s worth it. He’s the best writer covering the team, he responds to comments, and he’s so thorough in his approach. He will run with good storylines from the community.

Good stuff.

Yes, I’ve subscribed since the beginning and he finds nooks and crannies that others don’t have time or patience for, or access to. He covers what others do too, but often with added tidbits–like a recent quote from Shahid Khan saying he’d consider a new GM if the new coach needed that while Baalke was listening.

Articles like the Manu one today are what make him one of a kind for a Lions fan. I’m renewing my subscription whenever it’s up.

Thanks.
Most of my subscriptions are for all Detroit/Michigan sports teams not just Lions or Tigers as far as news sites go. Only exception is UMHoops. My point being I’m not sure what he would bring year round vs News or Freep

He paints his nails with clear polish, so he gets a pass. :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

He’s going to be f*cking tall.

You could be speaking about BroMart at this point in his rookie season… He still has all that, but can’t beat out street FA’s to get off the inactive list. A big TBD on this one.

Isn’t he the beat writer that moved to Germany?

I hope Sheila opens the purse strings to keep fraley here. Truly great offensive line coaches aren’t common.

I think the difference is Levi’s testimonial. It has the ring of truth to it. He was easy to beat one-on-one but now not so. FWIW, we didn’t hear anything like Bromart was giving Rags or the guards any trouble.

You’re right though, TBD. But this is a really promising update.

I know they are helping him become the LT of the future but when we drafted him I wanted to see him at RG just opening up lanes for Sonic and Knuckles

Future Left side duo M&M

This is BNL not Millen & Morningweg SOL

No, that was Kyle Meinke. Justin Rogers was originally at MLive, then Detroit News, and recently left to start his own private thing covering the Lions.

Has he ever had a good day?

BTW, Colton Pouncey is no slouch at The Athletic for Lions coverage too, plus there’s much much more there. I subscribe to both.

But please don’t blame either Justin or Colton for my idiocy. That’s on me alone.

I have the DetNews, Freep and TheAthletic for their Michigan based teams coverages, all do a solid job.
