His record is pointless, who was winning with what the Bengals were playing offering as a team last year ? I heard on Sunday teams contacted the Lions in regards to Driskell being available via a trade before the deadline .
I think this kid has something , talented kid ,smart kid, good arm , tall , thick , athletic and showed well Sunday under bad circumstances and offers a piece of the game Stafford lacks in scrambling or RPO designed runs .
The pressure Driskel faced Sunday was silly & got little help from receivers with 3 drops & was sacked, hurried or hit on 14 of his 46 drop backs , thatās almost 1 out of every 3 attempts . I canāt see any reason whatsoever to even consider Kap with what Driskel brings to the table.

I would do it if this was the case and we got a guarantee that all of our games would be called fairly and evenly in 2020 and beyond & the game decided on the field by the players . I would love the idea that we controlled the outcomes of games with actual play with no bias and no steering .

Ugh. I think 27 is old for never being taken seriously in this league. Itās the NFL, if he had the talent to be a starter, someone would have scooped him up besides the Lions. Jimmy G rode the pine in New England and got handed 30 million a year based on his abilities. Driskel is a league minimum clipboard holder.
I think 32 isnāt old for someone with a fresh body that has taken his team to a super bowl.
If this is the case or if the Lions get the draft at any point Iām going ā¦ would not miss it . Sadly I was going to meet up with SheLion in Philly for the draft but she was to sick . I attended the Draft for 12 of the last 14 years it was in NYā¦Hopefully 2022 in Detroit

Kap could do all of what ? Some of Kapās passes were some of the worst least accurate passes Iāve ever seen , almost to the point he had to push passes instead of throwing them in order to be accurate.

Yes, some of his passes were wildly inaccurateā¦the same goes for Cam Newton and a list of other QBs. Iām not trying to paint some picture that Kap was a great QB. He had issues and they finally caught up with him. I have zero desire to have him even as a backup QB. You are just painting with a brush thatās a little too extreme vs what his actual play was like.

I really have little to no value for Kap and my opinion was the same before all the nonsense , he was a gimmick QB in gimmick scheme who succeeded with a hell of a Run Game and Defense, never offered anymore to any team that would not structure such an offense around him.
He could backup a very few QBās in this league under the offenses that are run and even then you would have to adjust the Offense much more to a RPO type . He is just not a fit for most teams with his incredibly poor accuracy and bad pass attempts.
He is not on a roster because he canāt deliver what a team needs . Kneeling and drama aside if the guy had real talent for the position, and could self evaluate what he could do and accept being a 2nd or 3rd string guy he would have been picked up like Brett Hundley was to BU Murray

THIS ISNāT ABOUT STAFFORD!!! Itās about a potential back up position. Why are people so butthurt about CK that they donāt think itās possible heās better than David Blough or David Fales or Jake Rudock or whatever trash we keep signing?

Look I am done responding to you after this. I said this on another message board. I hope that some team signs him and he winds up playing. He goes out and does well then good for him and he can move on and possible continue to be on that team or another team. Or (what I would expect) he goes out and sucks and that team can use his performance as a reason to dump him and this whole story goes bye-bye. Like it should have 2 years ago.
Everybody is ignoring the fact that Kaperdick does not want to be a backup and only wants starting QB money.
He could have been on a team or two already if he was willing to be a backup.
He also refuses to agree not to do kneel during the anthem

Well, thereās no hypocrisy because I never said a word about taking CK or anyone over Stafford. I simply made the point that our back up QB situation is ridiculously stupid and a revolving door of shit because Quinn dropped the ball and forgot about it. Then he had no name, no talent QBs running thru Allen Park for weeks after the season started, because he finally realized he forgot to get a back up QB for his franchise QB coming off a broken back. So yes, I would explore ALL options to improve on this Jeff Driskel era. A guy Quinn didnāt know of until 6 weeks ago.
This is a false narrative. He was an above average starter for the 49ers until the end, and sometimes he was great. His game against GB was one of the best performances Iāve ever seen from a QB (and I was watching closely, because FTP). They didnāt win in spite of him, but they didnāt always win because of him either. But he certainly didnāt suck.
But people say he sucked now because they donāt like him. I donāt like him either, and I really donāt want the circus to come to town from signing him. But to say that he sucked is just changing the truth.
