Ward wonāt be cheap at all.
Browns just extended him for 2 yearsā¦ and the key part is the gave him a $18.6 million signing bonus.
That means they take a fairly big cap hit if he is traded this season.
It could happen, but I do believe that pushes the cost up significantly.

I did not like the Rakestraw pick from a player perspective. A projected slot corner who likes to hit who weights 180 soaking wet does not do well in the NFL. I liked going double DB just did not love the pick due to his size and position projection.
He has Outside CB size. But does he have the speed and hips required?
Holmes has done a great job of not trying to be the smartest guy in the room most drafts. This 2024 draft was bad as we all agree. Top 3 picks may be all off the roster by next season. MAnu needs to prove it which is hard while out injured. It is funny that the 6th round pick is in solid.
