That is the British spelling of tire. I have textbooks with that spelling.
Will be interesting to see how these guys we drafted end up comparing to Landon Robinson.
Tyre plays violent. Tossed Monroe Freeling aside to make one of those run stops. Like it.

I’d bet you that play got West moved up on the Lions radar while they were scouting Freeling.

It has been harder to find much Tyre West info available for fans to read, possibly due to his lack of snaps in the deep D-line rotation that Tennessee utilized.
This was an interesting read I just saw today.
He played only 835 snaps in his college career, but notched 10 sacks, had a good pressure rate each year, and had 30 “run stops” as well. Pretty good production given the lack of snaps.
Too bad he isn’t a little more athletic.

IMO this guy is our car crash guy on stunts and loops. If he makes the team and gets to play on Sundays.

Agreed. West looks to have more juice but Lacy seems harder to move. So it might be an interesting trade off style of decision.
