Vet minimum. But how much guaranteed? Looks like $0 according to OTC. Meaning yes. Purely a placeholder

Which is what many of us were saying the whole time. There’s absolutely no reason not to kick the tires on a guy like this.

Which im ok with. But again. You need 8 dudes on the DL. Proven dude or high end draft picks,

They have 5? Hutch, McNeil, Williams, Levi, Wonnum.

So whose the other 3?

I have no issues saying that we need to add more, 3 more, 4 more, 5 more. My issue in the Turner thread was that signing him would somehow stop us from adding more, like Davenport did. I suspected the whole time he was signed for peanuts.

I was worried it was a devenport signing because im cynical. But level headed after a while thinking it had a feeling it was vet min place holder signing.

Im just worried because the front 7 has never been this empty.

They need a WLB1 DE2 and NT2 at a minimum.

They’ll sort it out

Phew! The board was in Payton Turner Overdrive. Fortunately Disner was Taking Care of Business.

One more BTO pun and you’d have hit the vaunted trifecta. Feels like a missed opportunity.

I’m scarred for life by my father’s Classic rock lessons.

“Do you know why the Steve Miller Band is so great, son?”

I look back at him like he grew horns.

“Well let me tell you why!”

That’s fair. But the option bonus is there to spread out what Disner sees as a potential cap problem in 2028. He wouldn’t put this in Mays contract if we didn’t expect him to be here. The option bonus has no bearing on whether we keep Mayes in 2028 or cut him. That decision will be made strictly on cash due ($9M) to talent. But even if we draft a rookie to play center, Mays will probably take the LG spot, Mahogany’s contract expires after 2028 season. The Lions do not sign players with the intent of cutting. But either way, this is wrong. :backhand_index_pointing_down: :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Sigh, at least you got them. My Dad listened to shit like Anne Murray and Captain & Tenille. A very manly man, my Dad.

My dad taught me and my sister about Classic Rock through the art of listening to Pink Floyd.

It was Halloween, 1973. After it was dark out, and we were all jacked up on candy, he turned off all the lights and had us sit on the couch. Then he put on Dark Side of the Moon.

It was so dark. I could barely see, except for the dim glow of one of his funny-shaped cigarettes.

We get through On The Run, and the clocks start ticking. Dad chuckles. And then laughs and laughs and laughs as we scream in surprise when the alarms on the clocks go off.

Time is still one of my favorite songs.

That sounds pretty badass, honestly.

And dad was high on LSD.

Nah, he just liked his funny-shaped cigarettes.

Yea 2028 is a mess. Lots of cuts or extensions or restructuring.

Hence why i feel like lions are gonna treat this year like a gap year. Go all in next year. Restructure only Goff. Have almost $60m in cap space.

They will have 35-45 players under contract. Depending on ERFAs and extensions.

Top 10, maybe top 5 all time songs for me. Just perfect.
