Overall we got off 59 plays (with sacks and kneel downs) in 19+ minutes. Pretty great. Of course we were chasing the game and had to play fast, but still.

I know the TOP and the fact that we scored so quick is crazy. I think we should unveil a fast paced hurry up option for the playoffs.

It’s nice to have it in our back pocket for sure. We’ll kill our defense if we do it all the time, but there have been lots of QBs who seemed more comfortable in a hurry up. Stafford’s one. Brady too, to be honest.

Yeah - I would not use it all the time. But in a tough defensive matchup maybe to jump out and suprise them. Hopefully get an early lead :wink:

What really impressed me was the fact that the offense essentially had three two-minute drives that yielded TDs.

  • 1:47 left in the 2nd quarter - 10 plays, 75 yards in 1:36, TD
  • 4:15 left in the 4th quarter - 6 plays, 75;yards in 1:16, TD
  • 2:33 left in the 4th quarter - 11 plays, 73 yards in 2:04, TD

What’s even more impressive is that before the game, the offense had only run 23 no huddle plays all season.

Going to be honest. I didn’t think Goff had that type of performance in him

Was a weird day. When there was no urgency Goff was playing lackluster but when we went into the two minute drill at the end of the half and twice at the end of the game he was lights out

Honestly, Ben should have got to that sooner, if only for the changeup to see if he could jumpstart things. In fairness, the D was obv out there a LONG time and needed rest. OTOH, nothing energizes a D like an O putting up points, so…

I’ve watched that ending a couple of times now. Goff was so relaxed and cool on those two drives it looked like he was at a walkthru. Not stressing.

He did get pumped when Jamo caught the TD.
