I was referring to the Lions press release which states that the blue jersey is only paired with the silver pants. Maybe Goff will insist on Blueberries in his new contract.

Its still there, but its “altered.” Instead of the skinny Lion, they put a blacked out version of the logo on the helmet. Or that’s what I think I see.

How we combine the jersey and pants is not dictated by a press release. As long as the jersey and pants exist, they have the potential to be paired together. We have blue jersey’s and matching blue pants. Showcasing them isn’t a requirement for wearing them.

Maybe I’m just cheap or not liking inflation, but the jerseys for $180 are heat-sealed names and numbers. Not even sewn. This disappoints me.

I have to verify but i remember Rod Wood mentioning that they can mix and match any of the pants with any jersey.

There might be some number changes in the works here as well. There is no Jamo or Kalif jersey available. No Branch. No LaPorta. No Kerby. Probably have to see what happens in the draft before it all plays out.

Meh, under-whelmed…shoulda went with the racing stripe retro classic Lion helm from last season :man_shrugging:

Guess I was just expecting a bit more, especially with how much of a hit the old school helmet logo was…these really dont look much different that anything they nornally wear/have worn short of the blue helmet/black Lion.

We are allowed to have 3 different helmets so I dont think the new one from last season is going anywhere. They will just wear it on special occasions. And I cannot blame them for that. That helmet is a work of art and seeing it all the time would take away the prestige. But, maybe this means the solid silver T-Day helmet is not going to be worn anymore because that would make 4? I love the new uniforms, especially the black uniform and fhe new helmet. If I had one gripe it would be the blue and white pants not having a stripe and the letters and numbers not being sewn on.

The $180 ones are sewn. The $130 ones aren’t.

I already own a St. Brown white jersey in the old jerseys so I’m leaning towards getting a new player…but the 14 looks really good on the black jerseys.

That’s a negative. Both jerseys are heat sealed names and numbers. The $130 ones are heat sealed everything except the NFL tag. The $180 are heat sealed names and numbers with embroidered other stuff, like I assume the Nike Swoosh, the Lions (or Detroit) and the inside message. Both have embroidered NFL jock tag and tag at bottom.
