Maybe Iām just the insane person here, but the blue helmets with the black facemask and black lion might be my favorite Lions helmet ever.

Iām with you, if I had to choose. We traded gray pajamas for black pajamas with the all blackā¦
Really not a fan of the new black unis. I didnāt want black, but even if they are black I thought they would do better than that. Maybe theyāll look better on tv.
They will look great on TV when theyāre up 20+ points on someone. The human psyche is a strange duck.

A day later, and my opinions are almost the same.
I take back saying the whites, or all whites are ugly. Theyāre not. Theyāre actually beautiful. Itās a very attractive color combo all around. For me, my biggest complaints are whether or not itās Detroit Lions for me. And itās not. Still very basic. The Lions are silver and blue. Not white and blue. The silver helmet throws it off also.
Blue jerseyās are still great. I can live with blue berries. But with silver pants itās just ākissā.
I still donāt know if I love or hate the all black with blue/black helmet. I feel hype thinking about them playing in them. Like so bad ass, but I also imagine it being an eye sore and relieved the following week will be something else. Better than grey pajamas thats for sure, but not better than last seasons alt helmet. That was a thing of beauty. Wish it was their official helmet.
One thing Iām sure of, unless itās all blue, please, no blue pants.
Regardless, still an improvement over last year. I may not be happy, or unsure, but at least theyāre improved.
Someone ask Brian Branch if heās going to change his number so I can buy his black jersey asapā¦

Natty doesnāt need a jersey heās got a Fox tattoo on his back and a #3 tattoo on his chest. Now hopefully Fox never changes his number

I like them but was expecting something else I guess?I am glad the grey numbers and crappy font are gone. The WCF patch needed to go so thatās a plus. I like the black jersey. I think it looks dumb with the blue pants though. I was too young to remember the 90s jerseys but overall I like them. What happened to the Helmet from last year? I thought that was our new helmet for this year.
