My guess is, one of Arnoldâs âfriendsâ will end up testifying for the prosecution, if there is a deal to be made. I doubt the prosecution would have brought these multiple felony charges without some kind of proof that Arnold was there or orchestrated the whole thing. This isnât political, where they can just make stuff up and get a judge to sign off.

If TA was a great player they would have no problem paying him. And he still has plenty of potential to be a great player. So I highly doubt it was some opportunity to save money.
There are reasons why he was arrested, and given a 1 million dollar bond. Thatâs not peanuts. The Lions know better than we do. Despite being guilty or not guilty, he might still be guilty of the bad choices he made, or even the way he parties that the Lions find unacceptable. Rightfully so. Sheila has a no tolerance policy.
Players have been cut for way less. Even for saying stupid things on social media. When you become an NFL player, you have a responsibility to conduct yourself in a certain manner.
On a personal level outside of football I truly hope TA is not guilty.

Because of the nature of his arrest, the allegations qualify as âconduct detrimental to the teamâ. Under the NFLâs collective bargaining agreement, the Lions can legally void the remaining guaranteed money on his contract and seek to recoup a portion of the signing bonus.
This process was started two days after his arrest.

There is no evidence of Arnold having the character that you are eluding to absolutely none, no arrests no fines not one incident. How do you become a hater sooooo quickly WOW.

It depends on how good the player is, Rothlenburger was accused of raping a female employee of the hotel he was staying, he did not miss one day or lose one dollar and he WAS THERE at the incident of the accusation.

I have a suspicion that in police interviews with a whole bunch of turds, TAâs name kept coming up. That is not nothing. He may yet get off scot free, but he doesnât seem so innocent.

He almost certainly ditched his cell phone because it would have incriminated him for his role in the robbery committed by 5 friends or acquaintances to HIS MONEY back.
He may have limited the evidence by ditching his cell phone, but there is still plenty to know that he was involved. In fact, 2 of the people charged have already pleaded guilty guilty, so the police likely already reviewed the communications sent back and forth from Arnoldâs phone. He may have prevented all of his involvement from being discovered, but they still likely have solid evidence available.
Everybody knows that DJ Reed is the teacherâs pet in the CB room. Arnold never had a chance.

Regardless of whether he does time, what was Terrion thinking? He picks up an 18 yo from a club, starts hanging with her, his boys are all packing heat including an automatic rifle. Thereâs indication of drug use, drug dealing, participation in sex trade, assault, kidnapping, and robbery. Thereâs also a flagrant disregard of how their crewâs behavior is affecting the rest of the neighborhood with a free-for-all at the ABNB where hundreds of entries and exits occurred. How in the world could Terrion think all of that was just part of having a good time, that none of that would blow back on him? Who knows man; if Iâd been given $14M as a 22 yo I might have blow it up in a similarly asinine manner. But wow.

All of this came up as a result of this one incident, obviously there are questions now based on this event nothing before this incident. Even the Airbnb complaints noted are new.
What happens when someone rents his Airbnb is not necessarily a character flaw for him. He may need to choose tenants more wisely in the future. I have been in areas where there are questionable activities at an Airbnb and the owner has no knowledge of what was happening.
I think you wait until the dust clears before you convict him on a forum board.

It wasnât 1 bad decision.
It was a bad weekend full of poor decisions⌠followed up with a disastrous idea to use vigilante tactics rather than report a crime to authorities.
Why would an innocent person choose to scheme up a kidnap involving guns and assault instead of working with the police and insurance to recoup stolen assets???

Just as we donât know what Terrion really did or did not do, we also donât know what motivated the Lions to cut him. We do know that they waited until after the bail hearing, after evidence was presented â they may very well have realized that Terrion had lied to them back in February when this incident was first revealed. We just donât know.
So as much as weâre behooved not to convict Terrion here on the board, weâre equally behooved not to convict the front office, either.

Arnold is still in litigation, The front office have already voided his remaining guaranteed money and are going after his signing bonus that is what I am convicting them of, they did not wait to see if he was guilty first.

This isnât a court of law. The Lions have to protect their football team and the Ford Company. Whether Arnold will go to prison or not isnât the issue. It is his judgement that put him in a national spotlight that has become a distraction for the entire team and coaching staff.
Arnoldâs reckless behavior created this situation. If he compounded this by lying to the Lions they had to cut him, one player cannot derail an entire team through distraction.

This is important
Arnold lied to the team and they have ample evidence of this that is sufficient cause for termination.
I will continue to maintain that to those much is given, much is also expected. But even if you donât agree with my philosophy, the above should be enough.
