Yes and no. The Pats have been taking our castoffs for years. Van Noy, Collins and Tavai all come to mind in the past few seasons. I bet Trey Flowers signs back there soon as well.
I was actually a bit of a fan of the Seahawks back when Carroll and Schneider turned over about 90% of the roster… which I never expected because I hated USC when Carroll was there.
What I did like……
was that Carroll promoted competition all the time.
They ended up with a bunch of lower round picks becoming key players… and we know how that turned out.
Also have to admit… I did like the fact that Carroll once asked everyone to get up and change seats in a tram meeting… because there were guys who always sat in the same place… and it seemed stale to him. One vet player didn’t move… and he was cut the next day.
