Threeve Derp Checkers

I was watching the game with my Chiefs fan father-in-law and he cringed when he saw those 3rd and long runs.

What is the worst that can happen if you throw the ball on 3rd and forever, an interception 30+ yards away.

Pick 6…sack fumble. Any other questions?

I wonder what the occurrences of 3rd and over 10 is, as a percentage of offensive possessions…

It did work once…

Fumbles can occur on every single play.

Right - and what is the Goff fumble to RB fumble ratio?

Not sure. Just saying I don’t like that defense because a fumble can happen literally every play.

“Thou shalt never pass on 3rd and long because, you know, it might result in an interception.”

I’d like to know what our sack rate % is on third and long when the play is actually designed to be thrown over 10 yards.

and the % of sacks that end up as fumbles

There’s a reason NFL coaches call them obvious passing downs.

Smart coaches don’t consistently run on 3rd and 30+

Apparently I’m pulling that statement out of my butt.

I think our rbs can throw the ball farther than goff can

When you have Foxy, you should run no matter what!
