This guy is an ST gunner. I can’t imagine walking on at Georgia of all places, and sticking around 6 years, and never getting a scholarship. Speaks volumes about him and, conversely, the program, frankly.

There is a valid comp with Brian Branch: He’s going to have to learn to not lead with the crown of his helmet when tackling in the NFL.
Still, I’m geeked now that I took a quick look at him. I like his instincts, his speed and his you’re-going-to-remember-me tackling. I think Brad proved that he’s the Safety Whisperer again.

I went back to Senior Bowl practices to watch Dan in 1 on 1s and let me tell you he looked pretty damn good. It’s a little weird being that he’s a 7th round pick, but I came away thinking “this guy is going to be hard to cut”. I thought, from a consistency standpoint, he was the best safety at least on the American side.
