Would it surprise you if Wonnum is the 2nd best end headed into the draft? Because it won’t surprise me…hope it’s not but I will believe that when I see it.

And whatever rookie edges we do draft there’s a real possibility they aren’t as good as Wonnum in year 1. So yeah that’s how I see it hoping a 2a 2b & 2c type of scenario.

You really think Cam Jordan is gonna continue playing for less than a cancelation comp pick? He had a great year last year. I wouldn’t be surprised if he 8-10 mil on a one year.

This jogged an old Air Force memory. I used to be a Crew Chief on F-15 Eagles and part of the job was launch and recovery of my jet…whether it was typical daily flight ops or myself and my jet were assigned to Zulu (Alert Barn).

I had a trainer when I first got to Soesterberg AB that had just came from working a year on F-15’s in Iceland. He originally was on OV-10 Broncos out of Hickam AFB and told me that the Shaka Brah was a big deal for sending good vibes to your pilot and airplane before they take off.

So I did. Every launch. Marshall them out and send them to their next stop, popped my salute and then

Pilots loved it. One of those small things that brought more enjoyment to the job.

I feel like this is a typical Lions offseason honestly. They splashed getting a center but didn’t overpay. Now they are filling out the roster with some competition. Borom and Wonnum these guys fit the profile of “good enough to play, but not good enough to think the Lions wouldn’t upgrade them in the draft’. Which also fits their MO.
