So was his injury 14 months ago?

So in theory he’d be 20 plus months post surgery by next training camp which for an achilles tear often takes 1.5 to 2 years for a full recovery.

Ohhhhhhhh no… I’ve been told by people on this board that Branch could be back by game 1 next season… The internet said so

Branch might be back by week 1….

but it is pretty well recognized he may not be the same player when he gets back.

Unfortunately… for a DB… that may not even change 2 years out from the injury.

For McLaughlin… the odds for an OL player are not as dire.

So Nolan Bianchi of the DetNews had an article this am on the Center position and why it will be difficult to fill. Not much in the article that hasn’t been discussed here with one exception.

He makes no mention of Seth McLaughlin whatsoever, not even as a long longshot. Found it interesting and have asked about it on SM, see if he responds.

My concern on McLaughlin was his snapping issues that he had for more than just vs UM that season. HSV says he has fixed it at OSU, so hopefully
