Lions (supposedly) have NFL’s easiest remaining offensive opponents

i will say i think our defense needs more than just one player, even if it’s branch who I think will help, but honestly a scheme change would do us wonders.

I’ll take it! Just win baby. Just win. Get to the playoffs and win a game. Then see how things shake out.

But we haven’t beaten anybody know worthy I was hoping the Sainta were gonna be a good team, but it doesn’t look like it. Jets and Cardinals both.blow

Offenses we played.

4 BUF - L

9 CAR - L

14 ARZ - W

18 NYJ - W

19 NOS - W

Based on that data. The Lions defense should be okay. But yea they havent really beaten anyone

then listen to these guys reminding you of that every game.

I don’t think Green Bay is going to get Josh Jacobs back anytime soon given the news yesterday that he had to sue the police to keep the video of his domestic assault from being released. The NFL wants it so they can do their investigation and close it out which would then allow them to meet out punishment and close the books on Jacobs. For him to want to stop that process is a little bit puzzling, but then you have to feel like whatever is on that video could be a lot more damaging than what the NFL is going to do to him from a suspension standpoint.

My favorite reasoning that Jacob’s lawyer gave for suing the police was that releasing the video could allow future potential burglars to get an understanding of his alarm and camera system and make him vulnerable to a home invasion.

Gotta freaking love these paid obfuscators…

Not entirely directed at you.. This is always a silly perspective. Its the NFL, bad teams typically win a few games they shouldnt and the difference between bad and mediocre isnt overly significant. Considering that the vast majority of NFL games regardless of opponents are settled by 1 score or less this becomes an even stranger take yet everyone has it…

Lastly, would i prefer that we had already beaten the packers, vikings, etc sure but you can only play who they put in front of you. The Bills on the opening of their new stadium, national tv, fully healthy was an absolute buzz saw. The panthers always have our number for some weird reason.

5 games in, 3-2, need to be better on defense and the offense is starting to gel. Every game is a potential loss for every team and i guarantee you that the team sees articles like this and laugh because “any given sunday” is a saying for a reason.

If he faced the Lions defense every week he would have made the hall of fame. I will never forget the game where he ran wild on us when he joined the Vikes. That was a painful afternoon.

I personally like the Falcons. Different team with Penix. Plus they get James Pearce back at the halfway point. That’s like adding a star that everyone wants to add here!

That Panthers team is playing some inspired football considering all their injuries all over the place. But i think that catches up to them. Falcons 9-8 and hosting a playoff game :man_facepalming:

Also figure that this was the first Sunday Night game in 10 years or so for the Panthers. They were beyond hyped for this game. Despite being injured to hell, those guys played their asses off and whipped the Lions.

Confucious say “listen not to the false prophets of the media, believe that which is right.”

I mean they also scored on the lower end of offenses because they haven’t played our defense yet(Sticking with this until the defense proves otherwise, 1 game against AZ doesn’t change the narrative) For all we know our division opponents could be top 3 in the league offensively after each playing us twice. We just don’t know yet. Hope for the best, but don’t drink yourself into AA meetings if it’s the worst.
