The backup TE position has been like the football version of a MASH unit.

So I guess we’re bringing Horton back?

Really hate to see that for Firkster, but easily replaceable with numerous 3rd string TEs available.

The stars are aligning for JACKSON MEEKS

Yah, but it would have been nice to have Firsksker when Meeks goes down with a season ender later today.

Sucks but if someone was gonna get hurt bad, a 30 year old, 4th string journeyman tight end would be near the top of the list

Personally I’m good on Firsker, I don’t ever want to see him or Josh Reynolds or Chase Lucas or Vildor ever in a Lions uniform again.

Zach Ertz would’ve scored that TD in the NFCCG not get tackled on the 1.

can’t believe this shit, you can’t make it up, our players getting injured before we even play a down , I swear they are great at finding fragile players !

I believe he’s available. Was having a great year with Commanders, but torn ACL makes it cloudy. Should be ready for start of season. Not sure if worth the gamble, or how much $$$ he wants.

Dear lord.

I think Meeks is definitely gonna be the TE3/ special teams guy.

If Conklin gets healthy by week 1 hell be TE3.

However based on some reports. The UDFA Kisselman has been doing the best outside of Laporta and Wright

3 RB: Gibbs, Pacheco, Vaki

4WR: ASB, Jamo, Tesla, Dortch

3TE: Laporta, Wright, Conklin/Kisselman.

Basically 2 spots left.

Saylors, Meeks, Lovett, Kiselman (if conklin is healthy)

Do you pay attention to any other teams besides the Lions? You think this isn’t happening to other teams and some much worse, see Carolina and SF

to answer your first question, NO , I do not pay attention to other teams, I care about The Detroit Lions period. If other teams are worse off, oh well. they are our Opponents, so I don’t care much about them -sorry, not sorry. just how I am. and I hate every day, somebody is injured (here) an it’s not even Preseason yet, I have the right to be upset/angry about it-as a Lions fan.

broken bones !?

Just in… Lions not giving players enough milk leading to fragile bones…

In other news, injuries happen, glad it’s to players who are depth/fringe roster guys and not the starters… Anyone who thinks (or is willfully ignorant) that this isn’t happening to every team and is unique to the Lions is just a dumb, uninformed fan
