The roadies have to be white, right?
Ai says no, not that i trust ai implicitly:
In the NFL, visiting teams do not always have to wear white, as the home team chooses its color (white or team color), and the visiting team must wear the opposite color. While historically road teams typically wore white, this rule allows visiting teams to wear their teamâs color, provided there is sufficient contrast with the home teamâs jersey. Some teams, such as the Seattle Seahawks, wear their primary colors on the road.
No! They could be light silver an opposite contrast to the home opponentsâ darker unis
Right, but thatâs only against the teams who wear white at home, which is pretty rare (and iirc doesnât include Seattle). I know Dallas does it and Miami does it to take advantage of the heat.
But when weâre playing a team that has chosen to wear their dark jerseys (90+% of road games), I think we pretty much have to be white.
Maybe thereâs an exception to allow for a very light silver, but it would have to be so light as to seem more or less white. And it would be different from our âofficialâ silver, which I donât think the league would allow.
Here is the rule from the current rulebook:
So unless you want to change our âofficialâ silver to something much lighter, I donât think it would work.
Now the road team does have the option of wearing an alternate jersey provided itâs sufficiently contrasted, but theyâre only allowed to do that a limited number of times per year (I believe twice?)
But there is a reason EVERY team wears white jerseys.
An actual lion-colored (tan and dark brown/black) alternate would indeed be worth trying.
Wearing bigfoot costumes would be better.
I have a feeling itâs more of a generational thing as far as uniform preferences⌠I hate the throwbacks and like the all gray
absolutely love the new black uniforms with the new blue helmets
I just donât think black should be an option for teams when itâs not one of their primary colors. Like the Steelers black and yellow, the Saints black and gold, the Bengals black and orange, the Raiders black and silver, the Falcons black and red, and the Panthers black and blue.
By adding the black, we have essentially adopted the official color scheme of the Panthers. Maybe the shades are a little different, but they are black and âprocessâ blue, which is at least in the same ballpark as Honolulu blue. Worse, theyâre one of the few teams with a 3rd official color, and itâs silver.
I also donât like that the main impetus behind all of these design shenanigans is to sell more jerseys. Just stick with the classics.
Finally, they remind me too much of 2008.

Uniforms are like opinions. Some of them are good, some are terrible and others are ridiculous.
Also uniforms are like bungholes some stink more than others ![]()

Oh also uniforms are like Hookers, way too expensive and you always need to buy a new one ![]()
Black jerseys suck. Theyâve always sucked. They will continue to suck in every iteration.
The Lions already have a badass color scheme. Why do we need something so boring like Black?
Their current jerseys are just about perfect.
Iâm pretty sure thatâs exactly why they donât have full time officials. Because they have a built in excuse to do exactly that. They can manipulate games and keep pushing the narrative of it just being a bad call/mistake by part time people trying their best. You canât tell me itâs cost. Paying for full time officials would likely cost less than the annual expense account for Goodell.
Every single team in the NFL is primarily black. Its been that way for decades.

Blue pants!
Blue pants!
Blue Pants!
And no awful black top with silver pants. Not good.
They need to have led lights

Yeah? Well, you know, thatâs just like uh, your opinion, man.
