Him vs Craig Reynolds vs Jamar Jefferson?

I still like resigning Justin Jackson

Jermar is out, IMO. We gotta let this play out, though. As @CuriousHusker has pointed out a couple times, Mo is returning from an Achilles injury.

I would say he has returned. 1,665 yards and 20 TD last year. Doesn’t sound like a problem.

2022: Played in 12 games and rushed 320 times (single-season record) for 1,665 yards (single-season record) and 20 touchdowns (single-season record) • rushed for at least 100 yards in his first 10 games of the season • also caught seven passes for 50 yards.

Mo is going to nice piece. He’s going to make the team and to play a little IMO.

What we are hoping is that he gains some of his speed back. It usually takes 2 years to fully come back from an Achilles. He has done awesome so far considering

I love that Ibrahim kid from Minnesota. Dude can straight up BALL!

I’d like him back just for the mere fact that he’s a great kick return man too and is capable as either the 3rd or 4th running back. He’s not fancy, just kinda rams straight full speed and I’m ok with that. Actually thought he hit the hole faster than swift and Williams last season.

He kinda reminds me of Marion Barber and I am not saying that because they both played at Minnesota. Mo just pays with a reckless abandon like Barber did IMO.

He was referring to jackson i believe

I agree, nothing cute. Just solid efficient guy that can return like you said, catch some passes, or hit some draw runs straight ahead get what we get and keep it moving. Give our other guys a break and take some wear and tear off them.

He ran a 4.47 coming out of high school. His combine was a 4.52. Pretty much the same. I think he’s fully back to his old self. He won’t be a speed back, not that running a 4.5 forty is slow. More a sold back, who can be a goaline beast for us.

Jamaal ran a 4.59 40 and he was pretty successful here.

Mo should fit in nicely as part of the rotation. He had a ton of carries in college because Minnesota relied on him as basically options A-Z for their offense. He reminds me of Mike Hart in that he is a gamer who will give you everything he has whenever you play him. Also like Mike Hart, Mo had a shitload of carries in college and it’s fair to wonder how much he has left in the tank at this point. As a UDFA though he was a smart pickup for the Lions.

He kind of reminds me of this guy.

Ibrahim? Pretty sure he didn’t run at the combine, or at all during the pre-draft process. And I would be shocked by that 40 time from him coming out of high school. Speed has never been his thing. Vision, contact balance, toughness, those were his calling cards even before the achilles tear.

I’m with you on Jackson - I though the was solid. I’m suprised that we didn’t resign him as of yet.

Yeah. Even before the injury he looked like a 4.6 guy. He weaponizes his leverage in a pretty profound way. And then all the subtleties of running the football he excels at.
