Bills 34 lions 30
Levi signed to 53.
Cochran and McLaughlin elevated from PS.
As stated, Thursday games are often weird and not the ‘norm’ you’d expect on paper. All the signs on paper point to a high scoring affair. Watch it be 20-17 or something similar. Reduced rest is hard, limited game planning (I know they work on these games ahead of time during camp with advanced scouting), but no practice time to really implement it. I won’t be surprised if the Lions win or lose. I’ll be interested to see if the offense is more consistent, if someone else takes some of Gibbs touches, and how the defense plays/scheme we use to try and defend them.
So many folks, even Lions fans, are assuming that the Lions are getting blown out. It’s weird. If we’re basing it on Week 1 I guess the Giants are going to blow out the Rams as well which would be lovely btw but highly unlikely.
I personally think Buffalo will win but the Lions will certainly make it tough for them.
I think the offense has a better day, mainly thinking Jamo will show up.
I still think we lose though, as the Bills offense will bully our defense. Our only chance is winning the turnover battle
They’re still playing this thing? I figured with all the injuries, barely beating the Aints, over working Gibbs, Shep still sucking, and Vaki being Vaki, we would just skip this one altogether.
Dalton Kincaid about to have a huge game tonight…he is going to need it to keep with our offense, but eventually think the Bills win….Josh Allen between his arm and legs is a tough beat

I think Bartch is an upgrade overall; Borom is on par w/Miller; and Scruggs played well last week. S’long as these guys stay healthy, the 3 missing OL starters won’t be an excuse - and hopefully we won’t be in a position to look for one.
The thought of Gardner-Johnson and his big mouth trash talking (if they win) is just disgusting. And God help us if Dortch somehow has a big night. The takes on here will be ‘interesting’.
Watch the Lions play well, have it be a back and forth game down to the end, only to get screwed by some obscure rule nobody has ever encountered or some good ole’ NFL home-cooking for the Bills stadium opener. I can just envision a big sack on Allen, only to be wiped out by landing on him with body weight, illegal contact (think Rock’s BS call in Philly last year), etc.
Expecting our defence to get picked apart, so let’s hope Goff and the gang can deliver.
Kick-off is 1.15 am here in the UK, so time for a quick power nap for me.
you can count on our defense, but the Offense and the D both need to show up and operate reasonably well. you cannot have our defense trying to play ALL of the game by themselves-they get gassed, just like The Saints game. our Offense wasn’t firing on all cylinders-making our defense work harder and they got tired, SO, we have to have a better Offensive showing this game, so our defense CAN play “better” and help lead us to a W. can’t be up to one line-most the game.
Not trying to argue Wolf, I agree on the offense. But before the defense got gassed late in the game, isn’t that on them before then to get off the field? Not saying the offense didn’t play a large part in the gassing, but they have some responsibility as well.
The one Olave deep ball in the 3rd quarter and from them on, it was lights out for the Saints offense. That wasn’t all on them being gassed.
Clarissa Thompson…

Lions should take the ball first but this time score. Not like last game. Buffalo is a bigger challenge than Orleans.
Looking forward to seeing what Jamo can do.
Didn’t read the thread so probably already said…
But we gotta run the ball well, sustain drives and convert on 3rd down and keep Allen on the sidelines.
Long drives is how you beat the Bills.
If we have turnovers or a lot of 3 and outs we will get killed.
Appreciate you @jcook2 instead of reading most of these awful clickbait articles I just read your den posts, which are almost always accurate info.
Seth active, cause they are worried about Scruggs health? Hope not.
Run the ball, control the clock and keep Allen off the field.
It’s a dream I know, but…
Levi is back
Crazier things have happened, won’t be surprised either way.
If we lose, it’s to an AFC opponent, oh well.
If we win, statement win.
It’s a no lose situation, even if we lose.
