I am unfortunatly with you here. The scary part is Justin Herbert and the passing attack. I don’t really care who he has around him, hes a super talented passer and has just enough mobility to have to worry about that. I am going to be at the game and honestly this game scares me because keenan allen is a matchup nightmare for anybody in our secondary. Even Cam Sutton has had a rough couple games, and I could see with the timing and precision of Herbert, they might be able to slice us up in the secondary. I see us having to revert to a zone and sacrifice having extra people in the box, meaning Austin Ekler is a problem. This game says shoot out to me.
I think it’s gonna be a super high scoring game. Last team with the ball probably wins.
This is Goff’s old home stadium. Jared is going to be motivated to show LA what they gave up on… and BJ will draw up a scheme to get him 450 and 5 td’s.
How much koolaid did you have brother?
Welcome!
Listening to Lions weekly on the way home with Dan Miller & Wojo. Dan said, Jackson, Ragnow, and Monty will be back for the Chargers game.
Had this one down as a loss. But that was before the season and I now see it as a tossup. Our pass def concerns me here I mean there always seems to be a few plays we let guys get behind the defenders and Bobby probably won’t miss them like others have and if our offense leaves as many points on the field as they did against Vegas we will loose. But hopefully we get some players back after the bye and don’t come out flat due to the layoff. And hopefully pass more in the red zone and stop settling for fgs. We will play 3 games in 11 days so getting the win here will be a great start and huge in the whole scheme of things.
That was the home stadium for Goff, Josh Reynolds, Brad Holmes and Ray Agnew.
Detroit has a better offense and better defense.
We can’t turn the ball over like we did against the Raiders. If we don’t turn it over we win by 2 scores. The only way I see us losing is if we beat ourselves. Good on good = Detroit win
Is that what happens in the blue tent?
Bosa is sooooooo overrated, nothing like is brother and a total knucklehead
Ekeler is a problem.
Duh…
I hope he runs the ball ALOT tonight.
Brodric Martin is going to make the game winning play.
I love the reach! Vegas says…
Chargers oline is just bad.
Part of it is Herbert. There are times when he doesn’t seem to understand where the rush is coming from. Other times he moves in a strange way that maximizes the ability for the rush to get to him. Its kind of the opposite of how you hear a guy like Tom Brady made subtle moves in the pocket that that shield him from defenders and buys him the extra time needed to get the throw off. Herbert is still in the stage of pocket management where he is making small moves that put him in harms way.
Good point. I see him take a lot of unnecessary hits. Those add up.
