yup, we are losing. I think AG and company put 60 on the Lions. Breece Hall sets a league record in rushing with 400 plus yards. Geno Smith turns back the clock to his seattle days and throws for 500 yards 6 tds and 0 picks. The Jets flirt with 1k yards of total offense in the game. The den goes into a pyschotic break frenzy and the local radio stations take phone calls all week about firing Brad and Dan and asking Bill Cowher to come out of retirement and coach this team.

Yes the Lions have serious defensive issues. But that offense is still top shelf.

I love how people think “Glenn knows Goff”…. News flash people. There are zero secrets in the NFL there is only execution. Those who do and those who do not.
The Lions know how to execute on offense and I think the scheme is solid. Not Ben level scheme but I think it is solid.
Defense is a problem because poor scheme and poor execution means bad play. And to be fair, maybe they are executing to a crappy scheme.
Listen the key to disrupting Peyton Manning and Tom Brady was pressure up the middle and getting hands in their faces. Everyone knew it……LOL but yet?!?!!?

Roster wise yes, but there’s a coaching gap
The Saints have a better roster IMO. If Jordan Tyson is as advertised they are going to be a load on offense.

The Lions have extra time to prepare, they are at home, they have a more talented roster, and they’re playing against a coach they know extremely well. This should be a win. If it’s not….. then we need to have hard conversations about the start of the season.

I hope that this is a "get right’ game. We are 1-1 and that is with us squeaking by the Saints. But if week 2 taught us anything is that week 1 was an outlier. We just need to go step on a throat and we will all feel better.

We always seem to start the season off slow under Campbell. I really believe that it’s a lack of being prepared for the season. We don’t seem to put our starters in real game situations enough in the preseason. (thats my opinion maybe not factual)
Then the Buffalo fiasco. Very short week at the beginning of the season against a great team that was opening a bran new 352 billion dollar stadium. I honestly don’t think any team in the NFL would have looked better than we did.

The Jets are definitely one of the most improved teams in the league. That being said, they still arent a playoff team. 7 wins would be major for them and i expect them to get to 6+
Lions roll. It might end up “closer” on the scoreboard, but we lead by multiple scores throughout. Mop up TD for the jets.
