This is an overreaction and I absolutely am the furthest thing from a Goff fan. He does have massive, massive flaws, but we can win with Goff. Unfortunately, everything has to be perfect around him. He’s not going to elevate the team.
Did Stafford elevate the Lions. He actually played like crap in the Lions playoff games. Mahomes and Brady are about the only guys that elevate their guys enough to win a Super Bowl.

The fact people are even looking in goff direction after this game us mind-boggling. Trash oline, no run gm, zero separation from his recievers and they’re dropping passes. Like what are yall looking at? Even when yall did get in scoring position yalls coach refused to take the points. He refused to use his special teams at all until the 4th qtr. Goff was either on his back, pressured, his passes were batted, or his recievers even his best one dropping passes. When he had time he dropped dimes.

Stafford barely won today in 70 degree weather at home, against a lesser team, and with a defense that gave him 4’ints.

24’- 15-2 division win we despite crazy injuries
25’- 11-6 wildcard or Division winner despite tough schedule and more injuries
- we aren’t going to improve on a team averaging 12 wins a year in Detroit over a 4 year stretch.
Goff was a top 5 MVP candidate before today He struggled, but not in a replace him way That was Darnold or JJ… not Goff He was more like Mahomes or Lamar actually

It makes zero sense. I convinced People are just bias and don’t watch football outside detroit. Because no qb was succeeding today with the way the oline played. They were awful.

Im sorry. Drafting a FCS and CFL player isnt doing anything by anyone’s standards.
I mean QBs that can move would’ve been successful. Goff is the least mobile QB in the game.
