You know it’s hard to know. When drafted we told him he was playing guard. We know that cause Manu told the media that.
Then come training camp he only played tackle. So they changed their minds. I think he was just so raw they didn’t want to move his position and just worked on technique at tackle.
Then this offseason before the draft Coach Campbell mentioned maybe moving him to guard. And he used the word “maybe”
Then we drafted several interior guys. So in summary. Who ■■■■■■■ knows? Haha
The reports from the end of last season were promising though.

I think they should cut him. On the Oline you have to be great on every snap of the QB is at risk; D-line you can be amazing on some snaps and get to the QB. I don’t think he has the goods (killer instinct etc.). Nothing I’ve heard suggests otherwise.

Definitely don’t think he’s getting cut Maggie. Not in year 2. Sorsdal might get cut though.

That’s fair. I just need to see him play. We saw him in preseason last year and that was it. Gotta see how he looks this training camp and preseason. He was training all offseason with Decker.

Yea of the guys to watch in preseason Manu is near the top of the list for me. Manu, Rakestraw and Ratledge are 3 I will be watching closely. You would think they get a lot of snaps in preseason.

I have no idea whether he’ll pan out or not, but we haven’t seen him play at all yet, so I don’t know how we can say one way or the other. We know he was a major project so the fact he didn’t play last year wasn’t surprising.
