Marcus Cooper is back!

Re-signed to a 1-year deal.

Worth a shot, good STer.

Can’t be worse than what we’ve had?

He’s a late-season waiver-claim from Chicago last year. He got a few games under his belt here, but was obviously someone they had their eye on. In a DB group that’s not particularly deep here, he makes the roster over Dee Virgin or Andre Chachare.

CB Marcus Cooper only played 36 snaps last season for the #Lions, earning a 90.2 overall grade with the team. But that was mostly because of his 94.6 game grade in Week 14, when he played 13 of his 36 snaps#OnePride https://t.co/2OsuXq89Cy

So, he flashed a bit, caught the coaching staffs eye… and earned himself a chance to make the team. Special teams?
