Well, it was AWESOME!! As a kid who loved He-man growing up, it was such a fun movie with tons of throwback references, just the right amount of goofy moments, a story that kept moving, good fight scenes, lots of action. I was worried Skeletor would look bad, but he was spot on. I thought they did a good job with Adam, blending a modern day back story to explain He-man’s righteousness, compassion, and honesty traits. As a fan, I was smitten, best adaptation of a kid’s show/comic I’ve seen in a long time. 8.5/10

I had no He-Man toys or GI Joe toys. I was too old to play with those. I had Star Wars toys and matchbox toys mostly. And I had an extensive Lionel HO train set. I wanted to be Gomez Addams and blow the train up, but mom said no. I have no desire whatsoever to watch this kind of movie these days.

I had dome of them… and then rhey sat in my parwnts crawl space for about 25 years.
I ended up selling them to a co-worker for $150 because he collected old toys and video games.
They weren’t in pristine condition, so I never worried about them being worth a ton of money. Was nice to get something out of them.

hell now each figure is worth that much, still in the box and in solid condition-for one. loose one’s probably won’t get you $%#@! go check out what an action figure cost in the He-man genre, some of them are nutz.

man it is frickin CRAZY how anal collector people get about collectible toys and comics and that-everything has to be in pristine shape, no watermarks, no rips, no folds or wrinkles, no dents or marring in the plastic, no flaking/peeling in the cardboard or paper, the number on them matter, the series of the item matters, there used to be a show called King Of Collectibles, one show had a chubby guy driving around to peoples houses, he would lose his mind over some of the stuff he found…

I collect toys from the 80s and 90s. I also resell them .
Awesome. I always wanted to but don’t have the space. It’s ironic, how as kids, we mistreated those toys, let them go for nothing, never thought the toys could be worth hundreds of dollars a piece. they were “just toys” we thought would never go away or be rare, and toys were just simple play things, that would be there no matter what and we beat the hell out of them lol, chewed on them, sold them for squat… I did keep a box of Star Wars figures and Star Wars items-in a medium-sized plastic box…

Watched most of the movie last night, turned it off when the wife fell asleep. What a bad movie. Is this the crap that passes for entertainment these days?
To be clear, I expected it to be crap from the trailer, was not disappointed but the wife wanted to watch it.

I liked it but -it was more of a child’s version.
I watched the cartoon when i was a kid. I had all the toys. The nostalgia was fun, but the movie was terrible. I couldn’t even finish it.
I was hoping to enjoy it but couldn’t get into it at all. I even enjoyed the old one. My son loved it though so at least it was good for something I suppose.
I almost turned it off halfway through. It was better in the second half, but man He-Man was a complete puss in the first half and it was unbearable.
