Matthew Stafford Feels Kerby Joseph Plays Wrong Way

I don’t respond well to the imperative mood in English. Spanish is something else.

My dream is to see Kerby Joseph snare an interception Sunday night, return it for a pick 6, and stiff arm Stafford on the way to the endzone.

some of us always thought he was a little whiny. This is reminiscent of the. ‘ Not my style,’ When asked if you would consider working with a mechanics coach in the off-season

I think a lot of us just chose not to see it when he was our QB

Stafford got to college and told her he didn’t want to be exclusive

So she made her move to get him jealous

And it worked.

I like Kirby’s aggressive play but this shot was definitely low.

Dirty?…. I do not think it was intentional so… no.

His technique needs some work. He lowered his head on this play and didn’t keep his eyes on the target for example.

He had two plays like this last year. The other against Hockenson. In both cases the opposing TE suffered a knee injury.

In both cases there wasn’t a flag and he wasn’t fined. If the league thought it was dirty they definitely would fine him. I suspect they keep a close eye on him and he could get a fine if he continues to hurt players.

I think it’s a technique issue but a DB has to go low to tackle. You can’t hit them high or that’s a defenseless receiver penalty. Anything above the hip and he could be flagged. The rules force them low.

I think the issue comes in when you hit them directly on the knee. But the real issue might be how the league rules force these DB to go after the leg.

In the Karate kid if you slept the leg you were dirty. But what if the rules state you have to attack low?

This is as much a rule problem as it is a technique problem

That’s my biggest problem with it. Needs to keep the head up. Don’t need another Brown or Utley situation. It’s also a bit weird bc one of his best friends died from a football spinal cord injury.

The chopping 260lb TEs down part? Whatever. It’s football.

Definitely a technique problem. But let me add a lot of DBs tackle the same way. The difference is they’re not as aggressive and don’t come in as hot and violent.

I just hope as they coach him on this they don’t take away that aggressiveness. That’s what I love about him.

I do copywriting in the relationship niche. The reason I’m good at it is that I understand all the attachment freakouts people go through. I know it very well through personal experience.

She’s not a malignant narcissist, otherwise their family shit would have gone sideways long ago. She’s just the anxious attachment type, I think.

Her bringing up college era crap signifies she’s still trying to make Matt jealous because she feels insecure and does what worked in the past.

Apparently the SNF intro has been leaked. Eminem talking over whatever. Talking about Stafford.

I don’t need to see that. It’s turning into a “petty ex-gf” situation. Like let’s be done. Just get to 8:20, play the game, kick their ass and let’s go home and be finished with this.

Dang I wish I could sit down and have a cup of coffee with you, I’d love to hear your analysis of me.
Seriously

I don’t doubt your knowledge or experience on the matter, however I do disagree. They’ve been married forever, they have four kids, happy life, he goes on her podcast, she has his back like no other. I think she’s doing just fine. She’s just… being her.

You can sit down for a cup of coffee with me. I’ll be more than happy to give you my “analysis” on you. :joy:

Exactly. Because attachment style is determined by the time you’re two years old. Without working on it, yes, she will keep on repeating her style.

I’m not a shrink. I’m someone who can earn a living writing words that, hopefully, wind up helping people.

You seem like a good dude too, ha. Would be down to hang with you if ever the opportunity arose.

More to your point, hell yeah she’s doing great. But appearances don’t always tell the story. Success in one part of life does not equal happiness. Clearly. We see it all the time. She might, and I mean might, have issues that a lot of us have and struggle with.

Let’s keep in mind she had a large tumor removed from her brain. People are affected when they have part of their brain removed. They just aren’t the same. They don’t think as clearly or compute properly.

When I heard what she said my first thought was this was related to her surgery. This is common behavior for someone who has had this kind of brain trauma. I know several people who have had this type of surgery and her behavior is consistent.

Read this.

Acute effects of surgery on emotion and personality of brain tumor patients: surgery impact, histological aspects, and recovery - PMC.

Brain surgery can sometimes have consequences on the emotional and relational world of patients that can make their social interactions problematic and influence their behavior in different ways to the point of apparently changing their personality. A deficit in recognizing the emotions of others, for example, or their intentions might lead to misunderstandings and inappropriate reactions during social interactions. Similarly, difficulty in reasoning and rationally evaluating their own or other peoples’ emotions and behaviors might lead to analogous outcomes.

Honestly, I agree with this. I think Kerby is dirty, and I think part of it is because he’s a dick, and the other part is because he’s a bad tackler. Every time the guy tackles he looks like he gets hurt. Other players tackle hard without taking out someones knees. It’s legal, but it’s dirty. He ended two players seasons, and both players might not play this season or late this season. 20 Years ago it could have been career ending, and it still borderline career ending.

I’m not a Kerby fan. I hate his attitude. He seems like a trouble maker. He’s like this trouble-making ra-ra guy, and he gets into it with players, and he argues on the sideline with players, and coaches, and he show boats, and he is the worst INT return man I’ve ever seen. Like, of course he punches Malik Nabers.

The only thing that would change my feelings for him is if he plays great because he’s not been playing good.

Oh, I think we just work on true priorities. The whole world changes when your life flashes before your eyes.
Of course, I might not be computing properly.

I don’t want Stafford to get injured… Unless it’s knocking out those fake white veneers he got after going Hollywood when he moved to LA… I can’t even watch an interview with him talking anymore

Not for nothing but all of that could have been said for Jada and Will too
