Matt is a gamer. Which is what we all loved about him. He will always be a gamer and I will root for him insanely every time he doesn’t play us. On those days he is the Devil.

yeah , like Matt wouldn’t be ready, Stafford was one of the most durable and tough QB’s I have ever seen. wish him well.
Agreed. Since the Browns game where he came back in injured he will always have a place in my heart. I have no ill will against him at all and as you said as long as he isn’t playing the Lions I want to see him succeed.

Not sure I’m understanding. Is there an insinuation that because Stafford didn’t play in any preseason games that he wouldn’t be ready? Goff hasn’t played in any preseason games either.

I do wonder if this will become more and more common for most starters to not play in preseason. Just seems like injuries are constantly on the rise that the question needs to at least be asked if it worth it to risk your star players for a meaningless game.
Stafford had a hamstring injury, and there was speculation that he could miss a little time.
I never doubted that he would play though. Most of the stuff out there was just click bait.
Stafford usually comes out of the season rusty.
QB rating of around 75 for the first 2 weeks the last 2 sessions
