I think a lot of what’s coming out right now is smoke. Well done by the FO if so. Unless you believe the Dan O. theories that he’s been their spokesperson, we have no idea where he wants to go. Dan mentioned SF as a team that should get him.

I saw Peter King say he thought the 49ers could probably get Stafford for Garopolo and a 2022 second round pick, now I see another story where he says 5 teams are willing to pony up a first. LOL The Lions have never been this relevant.
I doubt the Lions would forfeit an extra pic for Mathew’s likes.

The 49ers will trade Jimmy G to the Patriots for #15 then the 49ers will give 12 + 15 to the Lions for Stafford. The Lions will use 7+15 to move up and get Zach Wilson. Then they use 12 on LB Micah Parsons.

That would be so Lions though. The fanbase gets excited about the new hires, starts throwing around crazy hopeful trades like two 1sts or 1st+Jonathan Allen+ then they wind up getting Jimmy G+2nd and just like that, all hope dashed.
