Dodgers - no I am getting one of De Paula or Hope and not their third Outfield Prospect.

Brewers- also a no because of the same situation I don’t want their third best shortstop Prospect I want Luis Pena in that deal then maybe

Phillies Maybe

Cubs sold show me where to sign

Yankees It’s kind of the opposite of the Cubs deal so if you’re looking to stock two pictures instead of two hitters it’s probably the best picture heavy you’re going to get deal because Elmer Rodriguez is a dude. That said I don’t trust pitching prospects at all and would rather take a deal like the cubs or Dodgers

I don’t want the Braves deal because it’s all pitchers though Didier Fuentes is a nuke. I saw some other feed from a Braves Centric Channel talk about JR Richey and Fuentes so I have to look at that at least⁹

Sirota is a beast, but the Dodgers are the last team I want getting stronger.

Phillies have he best package

Any word on a rehab start? How far away is he?

They just talked about that on Sirius XM where they would be surprised to see him doing a rehab start next week

Yes I know its a long shot but

1 Jesus made

22Josh knoth

23 Shane drohan

Yes made is top prospect in baseball that is why the other 2 prospects are farther down the list instead of 3 of their top 10.

Drohan is a older prospect who would contribute this year and knoth is a young prospect for future

Made is the big pickup here. Yes skubal is a rental but you dont get a back to back cy young winner who would give you a 1-3 of skubal/misiorowski/Harrison. Who could match up well against a ohtani/yamamato/Snell or glasnow or sasaki or sheehan

The Brewers got CC Sabathia as a rental 20 years ago…and it may be as close a comp as we can find.

The headliner in that deal was Matt LaPorta who was a big Can’t Miss Power hitting Lefty high level Prospect, who of course got hurt and really didn’t work out. Then there were two pitchers, Zach Jackson and Rob Bryson both of whom were terrible. But, there was a player to be named later, who turned out to be Michael Brantley, who definitely worked out.

Sabathia went 11 and 2 with 1.65 era in an almost Doyle Alexander like heaving of the team on his back to drag them over the finish line into the playoffs.

This can also quickly change but for now I don’t disagree with it. See where they are July 1

Play hardball a team will get desperate offering a bigger offer then normal for the guy not available for trade

I’ve already stated my desire to not sell, and that includes Skubal.

But, part of the equation to try to initiate a bidding war is the Tigers at least feigning that getting rid of Skubal isn’t something they necessarily want to do. So if ya want him, you better come big.

Personally my sights are on the future as well as this season and I hope Skubal can be a part of that future.

So whether the Tigers are feigning having no interest in trading Skubal or they are serious I prefer to see these comments from them versus them saying that they are listening to all offers.
