We don’t need a RG.

If you are talking to me, yes, we do but we’re going to sign one in FA

Right now the Lions have Wiggins, Dahl, and the FA guy they recently signed, Abashi I think his name is. Abashi is said to have been a decent pass pro guy over the 2nd half of last season, but neither him nor the others are all that shit hot at run blocking. Hence the need for an RG, either in the draft or FA; since they already signed an RG an Abashi, I’m guessing another one is not in the cards. More likely they draft somebody to develop into a starting RG.

Some say Crosby could be the next starting RG. Maybe, but he’s never played there; nobody has even seen him practicing there for the Lions. Would they slide Rick Wagner over to RG? I guess it’s possible, cuz Wagner hasn’t played particularly well at RT lately, has he? Maybe he’ll do better inside.

Sooo, I think they need to draft an RG, one that is good enough to start at some point this year if he had to. Not later than the 4th round IMHO.

Lindstrom works for me. Has to be at #43 though, he won’t be there in the 3rd. And he might not even be there at #43, good starting IOL guys are kinda rare this year.

No clue how reasonable this draft is, maybe I shoulda taken a Safety instead of one of those WRs at the end there. All in all, I like this draft.

Also, I would trade down to pick up and extra 2nd or 3rd rounder, even a 4th rounder has some decent value IMHO.

If QW was gone and instead they got Oliver, White, or Sweat, I’d still be happy with this.
