Sounds like Stribling may go top 50.
Yeah, he and Hurst have been getting a lot of run lately.
Too bad we don’t need a WR because it looks like there are a good 5+ rounds for them. I think Fields and Lane are a couple of big X WRs that seem underrated too. Maybe we just don’t talk about them in here because we don’t need one.
Lance and Malik Benson are the two mid round receivers that I like the most personally. And Zavion Thomas as a gadget guy.
I would not be surprised if Lance went at the end of day 2, I would put him right there with Fields and Lane.
^ Getting Miles Frazier & Dontay Corleone for the AG Comp picks, while getting to draft TeSLAA pick #70 a year early and all we had to give up was pick 81 a year later. = Highway robbery for us
DMONT gets us Proctor, Scruggs, 2027 4th, 2027 7th
Tim Patrick was used to secure Harold Perkins
Traded down round 2, got my guy. Used that extra pick +5&7 to get our Edge (Crawford Josephs both on the board when I picked)
IFFY/ZEITLER comp pick gets us CB Prysock
Ya’ll might not like it, but it’s my A+ realistic draft.
Got a 2027 4th for DMONT pick
Yayyyy
@Jman I traded Sorsdal away
This is what I imagine our real draft will look like. We traded a 4 from next year in a package to move up for Zion. I see that happening as well.

I know that next year there’s going to be 167 all pro’s and it’ll be impossible to make a bad pick, but I’m with you. Ideally, I’d like something like 3 picks from 25-50. Get those two and Ponds or similar to what you have.

This looks like a very realistic scenario IMO
The thing is we just don’t have the draft picks necessary to move up again. If you could switch out Taco for Ponds that would become an incredible draft. I took Taco thinking he is a long match up CB that can play some press man like we do. Also he has a fallback position of that deep free safety to replace Kerby if needed.

Not if we use future assets.
In that draft I did use a 4th from next year and for me that is like pulling teeth. But I agree if the right player is there Brad will part with those picks a lot faster than I would.
I don’t normally do drafts with trades, but I did one for fun. I’d be pretty happy with this haul.
Essentially only ended up moving back in this draft in the 1st, to move up a lot later and turned our 2027 3rd into a '27 5th…which sucks, but if we landed Miller, Young, Rodriguez, and Everette, I’d pay the price.

Why not ? Brad does mad trades
Gotta dictate

I think they’re just too hard to predict. I don’t even expect the Lions to stay put, but the chances of any trades made in drafts being close to real life are also so small it seems ridiculous to project lol. That said, after trading back a few times, I’d really like the Lions to move back in the 1st. Granted, the 1st seems to be where we often move up for our guys, but just seems like so much more value to pick up another 2nd or 3rd by moving back to move around throughout the rest of the draft.
Holmes has made almost as many draft-day trades (27) as draft picks (35) in his Lions tenure.
He’s going to move around. That’s the one certainty with him.
