If it wasn’t for Mize’s W-L record, I would’ve picked McKinstry.
Skubal being awesome? Saw that coming.
Gleyber being good? That was very much within the realm of possibility.
Dingler not walking? I mean, he doesn’t take walks. That’s ok, if you still get hits to get on base, which he does. I could frankly care less about him not drawing walks.
But, McKinstry actually being good? Who the eff saw that coming??
Mize having a freaking 6-1 record with a 2.5 ERA is bonkers though.

Smart. If you’d put Baez on that pole I doubt anyone else would get a vote. That’s been the most shocking to me. It also makes me mad though. Where the hell was this guy the past several years?

Looks like we found the president of the Javy Baez fan club.
I always thought he was over rated. Hated the contract. And hes been horrible the last 3 years.
And the staff kept making excuses and saying hell be better.
Well finally hes living up to his potential .

Gotta give Baez credit… He could have easily been stubborn, kept swinging at trash and collected his money. Was willing to make adjustments and good for him. Springer has made me eat my words too this year. Those 2 guys were 2 of the worst contracts in baseball the past 2 seasons and somehow both have been solid through 40 games.
