That’s kind of presumptuous. Js

Someone tell Goff to throw a bullet to Jamo instead of throwing way behind Raymond.

I actually think Goff’s play has been substandard the last two weeks but if for the whole season I think you’re way too low. He was lights out against Tampa for instance. He’s imperfect but this iteration of him is a high end NFL QB.

I appreciate that. Way too low? I gave him a C+. If that’s “way too low” then it would be an A grade. I can’t do that, and it seems like you can’t either. But these guys will come at you. I don’t blame you.

I think 2023 Goff should be at least a B+ though I have no prior experience letter grading QBs

I was piling on, kind of, as a joke. We’ve talked.
We don’t agree on everything. That’s okay.

  1. Montgomery got injured we tried Jamo out and it didn’t pan out , then the staff gave Gibbs more snaps, PT , and opportunity–The Connection between Goff and Gibbs is {As good–as he has with Montgomery .) He didn’t “struggle” to get the ball to anybody .

  2. YOU say that Goff throws an inaccurate , wobbly football–I asked you last time , to watch Sandman’s Highlight reels , Apparently -you didn’t bother or you wouldn’t try convincing us how Jared Goff throws such a bad football .

  3. Media and outside sources praise Jared Goff because He is doing fine this season --NOBODY held a gun to their heads and demanded they praised Goff—so that’s another take of yours that is BS.

  4. Why do you contradict yourself ? you write a book about how you think Goff is an bad QB , ending your rant with GRADE C+ “I think he’s played well .” no “he plays really well when things go right.” you can’t start a rant about how bad Jared Goff sucks --then end it how Goff plays really well . part of the reason poster’s don’t like you , is because you talk in circles , and state incorrect things .

So? What are you, and everyone clapping, thumbing up, etc trying to say? That you’re all jealous that I know football, and that my opinions are good, and valid? And you all hate me for it? “I can’t stand that guy who’s so good”? Are you the guys who made fun of the kid who was good at math? You’re all mad because I won the heated arguments that you all caused? I bring this up because I’m validating myself, and I deserve respect instead of your attacking insults.

How about you all chill out.

You’re welcome

Alex Anzalone - A+
Derrick Barnes - C
Malcolm Rodriguez - C
Jack Campbell - C

Cam Sutton - A+
Jerry Jacobs - B+
Brian Branch - A-
Kerby Joseph - C+
Tracy Walker - B+ (too many dropped INT’s otherwise he’s an A)

Riley Patterson - C-
Jack Fox - A+

Dan Campbell - A-
Ben Johnson - A-
Aaron Glen - A+
Let me explain Aaron Glenn. Fans, and media get too hard on him. It’s not his fault. It’s the players. This team, and some players have no business especially at pass rushing being as good as they are. They are over achieving because of him.

Brad Holmes - B-

I typed exactly what you stated–I quoted YOU , therefore I am not putting words in your mouth at all . AND our Offense is 2nd in the NFL–so we must be playing pretty damn good GOFF included.

I love this type of analysis. Because I think we often view our teams in a vacuum and do not take in the old bell curve.

With that said.

I am not sure when “safe” became a bad thing. Tom Brady lived in safe. Rogers is a well know “safe” thrower. So that comment was really odd to me.

I would only take Burrow and Mahomes and maybe Lawrence.
After that everyone either is a concern or would require some retooling.

Goff is a very good QB. He is literally the second coming of TB12 in style of play. I mean Brady often threw a crappy looking ball. And at times many questioned his arm strength. And I guess all those passes to his TEs and Slot WR were because he sucked?

Sorry but while I am not saying Goff is about to be TB12 he is a very similar QB in his approach and the style of offense the Lions run. I would argue that the Lions are likely a bit
