It was a heck of a strategy and it worked for them but they just couldnt overcome the michigan team. Honestly, i saw the back and forth on the foul desparity but when your entire strategy is be physical and make them call it. Bleed the clock etc you cant act shocked when you pile up some fouls.
Hell there were many more they could have called but let them get away with. Understand i am not complaining the Pistons have won championships using that exact strategy but it was clearly the strategy.

It was 10 years before I was born when the big last won a basketball championship. Espn is calling this Michigan team the greatest big 10 team of all time. Citing the win total and point differential.

however, the game is fundamentally changed and to me some of the charm of college bball is gone. It’s going to be SUPER hard to have that ‘cindarella’ team come up again.

UM through the tourny avg 60 pts inside the paint and the FT line. Last night 61points came from those two areas.

Lot of fun to hear them talk about the next group of great CBB coaches in the NCAA.
Some of the longtime greats retiring and who are the next greats….
Hurley, Lloyd, being mentioned as there and to hear UM’s May listed in that group is a great thing for UM fans.
He has a strong recruiting class coming in, guys staying another year should be a fun future for UM Bball.
