Pretty certain that the TX TXAM game has been on Friday or Thanksgiving day for years.
UGA vs GTech on Friday works, believe it is also being played at Mercedes Benz stadium vs on Gtech or UGA campus. That may have played a role on the Friday vs Saturday playing time.

I stand corrected. I had no idea.
To be fair, Texas and A&M have played each other once since I started following college football, which was last year. I was not born yet for the majority of the games on that screenshot.
