Hundreds of Beavers is great if you’re a fan of 30’s style screwball comedies. One of the zaniest movies I’ve seen in a long time.
I also think comedies… actually, movies in general… depend a lot on your mood. Low expectations can really alter your experience. I had really high hopes for the new Naked Gun, and it was fine I guess, but not what I hoped. On the flip side I watched that Seinfeld movie about Pop Tarts - Unfrosted - and laughed damn near all the way through it. But most people didn’t like it.
Also I thought the first Deadpool was really funny and that’s technically in the past ten years.

Zombieland: Double Tap (2019) is probably the best I can come up with. Comedy is pretty much dead.

Not sure what Hiter is getting but reports are that Haynes was offered 2.8 million from GT (not BC as some here have said).
