I know through friends that it’s a hobby that hooks its talons into you and then extracts considerable amounts of your disposable income.

I have vintage records in Black Hawk County, Polk County and whatever the name of the county is in Apple Valley, Wisconsin. Have some friends that own, “Orbit Records”, in Chicago if you are referring to rekkids.

My dad has over 300 of them. I just dont know how to price them for estate sale.

Try and sell them as an all or nothing or you will spend a shit load of time verifying condition, etc. Put them up on Facebook Marketplace, you won’t get shit at an estate sale and you will have to pay a commission.

Im running it.

Well, it’s hard to be an expert on everything and people are shitty these days so good luck, seriously. Your metro market will likely set the bar but again I would suggest looking at FB marketplace for basically everything.

what are you looking for? hell anymore Def Leppard is “vintage” , what era of music do you enjoy the most?? , secondly, you need to find a shop that still sells records-I don’t see the mystery …

Most Grannies: Bols
Most Poutine: Boyd
Most Polls: Jman
Most Chris Farley Gifs: Too close to call.

Im looking to sell

When I was 17 I ate 65 suicide wings! That’s my top eating record! Meal was free since I beat the previous record holder. I was shitting fire for days.

Found this site, a marketplace for used vinyl: https://www.discogs.com/

They charge an 8% commission on sales through the site. Not bad. Depends on how much time and effort you’re willing to put into selling them.

If nothing else, there is a page there that shows the general pricing for various records. You might wish to check out what some are selling for, in case you have a really valuable one that is worth $$$ before you sell it for two bucks.

Anyway, loads of info/resources on selling records there.

Create a whatnot account. They sell vinyls there and my wife has added to her collection through it.

AND this gets back to how much time you want to spend evaluating each and every of the 300+ rekkids in order to arrive at individual prices. I strongly suggest selling them as an all or nothing deal.

I sell stuff for a living. Looking up prices isn’t issue at all.
