Guess they need to distract us from Twitter for a few minutes!
Thanks for posting this. It was nice to see a little bit of all of the new coaches in one place. Love what this organization is now!
Some serious coach Koolaid in that video!
Needed that.
There is no doubt in my mind that we improved the coaching staff as a whole on the offensive side. Maybe not a huge step forward, but I believe a step forward still. The defensive side I’m a little nervous about. Less nervous after the Barnes session with Dannie and this episode cementing the connection with Rogers, but still not confident in the way I am with the offensive coaches.
Barnes is having sessions with Dannie? That is one lucky sob.
It’s Dannie, bro. It deserves a capitalized SOB!
Tyler Roehl reminds me an awful lot of Chris Spielman in the way he speaks
I thought the exact same thing!
Loved the episode. Dan is the man and continues to build and rebuild his staff. Our window and performance remains open as long as we have Dan.
Yeah you’re right. But I sure would feel a hell of a lot better with one splashy DLine move.
“We’re gonna play with one speed, and that speed is physical.” Love this coaching staff. Really excited about what these guys can do.
I watched it last night, and am much more excited about the coaching staff. I like that they all come from connections with each other, so chemistry and knowing what’s expected is all there. I had no idea who Tyler Roehl is, but listening to him talk? Yeah he is a Lions guy. I loved the hire of Tashard Choice, and he is going to be a hell of a fit.
It’s tough losing both coordinators, but I am very curious to see how the new guys do. I liked Glenn, but there were things he did that bothered me. I liked Ben Johnson, but I really felt like especially last season, we got wayyy to cute on offense at times. One of Dan’s staples is, if we k now a team has a weakness, we are going to pound on that weakness and make them stop us. Well, we saw too many games like the Tampa Bay game where despite being able to run the ball, we just shifted into all pass mode. We got away from what we did best.
I know the Washington game got completely out of hand once Amik was hurt, and that the offense went full court press to try to score as many points as possible. That extra pressure led to turnovers. I get that. However, some of the offensive play calls in that game were completely stupid, and you can’t convince me for one second that Ben wasn’t “auditioning” for the Bears. I think that deal was already done but not signed, and Ben wanted to show off to his new employer what they were getting and screwed us by doing so. Specifically, that Jamo pass play was completely unnecessary.
yea i really like getting Morton and Shaw working together. Seems like great chemistry with those two. Ive always liked Shaw. feel like he was an absolute great signing.
