What’s the scoop on Whiteside? His training camp koolaid is like pure moonshine from the few reporter articles I read.
Is he actually any good? Or just that time of year for clicks and views?
Did you watch him when he played, dude looked pretty good when he was on the field. The guy played about like the reports now, back then a small sample size but he seems to still be putting it down on tape.

Yea rooting for Whiteside for sure. But what did he play last year 40 snaps? Hard to evaluate much, especially with the tv camera angles. Can rarely see the db’s
I’m not sure that’s why I said small sample size ,but he played well, picked up the slack when he had to play, from what I watch there wasn’t a noticeable drop off. Dude was making them work. I have had him in my depth chart all year. Young player came out of no we’re, but I think he can ball and may be legit.

There a lot I love about this team, and it’s a very talented team. But I still think they have to finish. Hate the way we played in some important games. This team has the talent to force there will. But hasn’t always played that way when it counted, I’m not a excuse guy and things will always happen, the champion is the one that raises above it, and takes it. And I get the injuries hasn’t been kind at times, but won 15 games with a ton of injuries. The way we played in them games is what make champions. We need to come out and play like the first half of that 49ers game you play like that and you will get a ring.

While I do think the Lions are in the market to add a DB if an upgrade becomes available. I don’t think Apple is it.
