I think the Eagles are going to have a down year. There have been so many meaningful changes to the staff and the personnel. Also, the last time a team repeated as champions of the NFC East was 2003-2004.
Yes! Completely agreed. We surprised some teams last year, that aint happening this year with all the hype surrounding the team. There is a lot more pressure to win this year. Last year, we were more of a feel good story in year 2 of a massive rebuild. The pressure is on now to deliver. Rodgers is gone. The NFC North is pretty weak overall, the Lions have to start fast and send a message the North belongs to us.
It was tougher than expected to pick the playoff teams in each conference. I left a lot of good teams off the table.
AFC East is a beast. They are going to beat up on each other all season. Dolphins and Patriots could easily prove me wrong. Tough division.
Both the NFC/AFC South look to be the weakest divisions. Trevor Lawrence may be the best QB out of all 8 teams.
Picking the Broncos over the Chargers/Raiders was a tough call but I think Sean Payton is gonna have a big impact in Denver. I’m taking Sean Payton over Justin Herbert. Broncos in.
NY Giants are a tough team and you can bet Ron Rivera will have a competitive squad most weeks. The Dallas defense and the Philly offense control the top of the division. Another tough division.
I don’t have any faith in J.Fields or J.Love - they still have a lot to prove. Cousins gets the Vikings into the Wild Card spot.
Leaving Stafford and the Rams off the table was difficult. I expect them to rebound in 2023 after a horrible 2022 season, but I’m taking Geno Smith and Pete Carrol one more year.
